The Journey from dream to reality! I would like to say thankyou to all of you for the part you have played in making what had only been a dream for us, a reality. From my first meeting with Ellen and Chris, to the numerous emails and phone conversations with Bob, the process could not have gone smoother.

Following a car accident in 1988 my husband was left a C5/6 quadriplegic. Following his accident, staying away from home was never a easy thing for us. The need to pack and carry so much to meet my husbands needs was a nightmare. Each motel we stayed in was different and presented its own challenges with access. Once our family grew it only became worse. The need to book two rooms (as disabled rooms did not accomodate families) makes it financially crippling. The logistics of camping was impossible. We needed a mobile home.

I had spent years searching Google looking for disability accessible caravans in Australia. Most of which were beyond our financial means and were not quite right for our family's needs. With the help of Evolution Caravans and Bob we were able to make our dreams possible.

 I knew what my husband and family needs were, and Bob knew how to make caravans. As we lived in another state our only communication was over the phone or via email. During the building phase we did come accross obstacles. Bob would explain to me why it may not be possible to do certain things but always came up with alternatives that would work.

The end result was amazing! A caravan with a queen bed, bunk beds, ensuite and ceiling hoist to lift my husband. A small functional kitchen inside as well as an outdoor kitchen. Our dreams had become a reality!
